The US has the highest gun murder and suicide rate in the developed world. As teacher of at risk students, thirteen students died in 13 years, most were killed by gun violence. | |||

Worker owned business, an ethic of community over consumption, and valuing our the West Virginia traditions of one hundred years ago where people grew their own food, built there own homes, and made their own music, dance, and art. Now we can add generate our own home made solar electricity to the list that makes a reality of "Mountaineers are always free". | |||

We need to create a Benefit Corporation where people and planet are prioritized over profit.
